Job Description:
The role is aimed at a person who wants to help shape the future software solutions within the defense industry. As a domain architect for missile software, the candidate will have a central technical and strategic function, tasked with creating a shared vision and direction for the development of the area's products. The person contributes to establishing common working methods, routines, and technical guidelines that enable a sustainable, scalable, and long-term functioning system architecture.

The assignment includes close collaboration with team architects, development teams, and other key roles within the organization. The candidate is expected to have a holistic perspective on technology and architecture and drive the strategic work of developing structures, system solutions, and technical choices that move the business forward towards common goals.

Responsibilities also include developing plans for the area and creating a cohesive overall picture of how the systems should be designed. This includes lifecycle management of a common modular architecture as well as collaboration with other architectural functions to build a unified technical platform.

This is a role that involves being part of a technically advanced journey, where the effort makes a concrete difference for both the project's success and the development of future robust, secure, and sustainable software systems.



Daily tasks include:
  • Developing strategic plans for the design and further development of IT and software systems.
  • Ensuring that IT components and systems are integrated efficiently and seamlessly.
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating new technologies to assess potential implementation.
  • Ensuring that systems meet requirements for security, robustness, and scalability.
  • Proactively identifying technical obstacles and taking actions that minimize risks and optimize development and operational environments.

Profile

The candidate should have at least seven years of experience in software development, preferably in complex or safety-critical environments, with a particular focus on embedded systems and programming in C/C++. The person is a graduate engineer in computer science, technical physics, or equivalent and has experience working in an agile manner.



Preferred qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the defense industry.
  • Certification in IT security, such as CISSP.
